We were excited to welcome a new Chief Executive Officer of our parent company, Zurich North America, in early 2021, Kristof Terryn. Our RCIS team has been extremely grateful for Zurich, as our parent company, and all that has been brought to help simplify our systems and to make it easier for our agents and policyholders to do business with us. As our customers, you can expect the same commitment under his leadership.

Kristof is optimistic about the path ahead and focused on customer needs. Zurich is well positioned to help navigate through challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving market. We will continue to leverage technology and data to innovate and enhance our products and services, as you are experiencing in our Acreage Reporting and Mapping to the Web stage of our work to move the CIMax® operating system to the Web. You will continue to see investing in ways to be even better.

The RCIS Claims team will benefit from being added to Zurich’s pioneering apprenticeship program, where four individuals will join the team this summer to work for us while earning their Associates Degree. It presents a unique opportunity to train our own and provide opportunities that may have not been available to these members joining our team through this program.

As you know, this is a relationship business, and we consider time with our customers, you our agents, important. This past year COVID may have impacted our time together in-person, but you know our team is always here for you through our team approach, whether that is in-person or not.

Thank you to those who responded to our Relationship Net Promoter Score (RNPS) survey in April. The insights provided in this survey, completed twice a year, are a helpful guide to where we need to focus and respond to your needs and the needs of policyholders. Even though we have not been able to host our Regional Agent Advisory Council meetings, these surveys provide perspectives we consider important in showing ways we can be even better.
