Great golf and so much more at the Zurich Classic
Whether it was seeing Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak win the tournament or enjoying Grammy-winning musician (and New Orleans native) Harry Connick, Jr. discuss his career during a Zurich business session, there was plenty of excitement at this year’s Zurich Classic. Members of our Direct Markets team and several Zurich customers were among the attendees who enjoyed the PGA TOUR’s only team competition this past April. The event also featured more of the volunteer efforts that have helped generate over $30 million for charities supporting children in NOLA since 2005. Our “Connections from the Green” interview series included a conversation between Tom Bloomfield, Managing Partner and CFO of Don Thornton Automotive Group, and Marie Knight, Head of Direct Markets’ Customer Office. Tom and Marie discussed Zurich’s customer-focused approach, including how being part of our Customer Council can benefit a dealership.

RecovR: Fight vehicle theft and bolster F&I revenue
Over 850,000 vehicles were stolen in 2024. Looking to address this risk for dealerships and their customers, Zurich is now offering RecovR, a vehicle theft recovery system with several advantages over other GPS trackers. RecovR is a small, battery-powered, standalone device that can be easily hidden. It can be installed in less than a minute and has easy-to-use web and mobile applications. Dealerships can use the device for real-time monitoring of vehicles on their lots or in transit. This not only helps combat theft, but lets you locate cars in your inventory more quickly to cut down on customers’ wait time. Several business models are available with no up-front costs. Your F&I sales can also benefit when you offer RecovR to customers looking to protect their new purchase. Look for more information on RecovR soon or contact your Zurich rep for additional details.
